Stupid eBay Questions

eBay Questions
Let's be honest, we all love eBay. Which ever way you look at it, it's great fun, whether grabbing yourself a bargain, or clearing out your loft to make a few extra pennies for your holidays. It's a great fun way to earn a few extra quid.

It's funny, if you ask 10 different eBay buyers what eBay means to them and you'll probably get 10 different answers, invariably we will talk about incomparable bargains, finding those hard to get hold of items, having something delivered to our door in time for a birthday, the excitement of winning an auction, being part of an online community etc etc

For the sellers it's much the same, they're all buyers at heart really, that's how they started. The sellers or traders get excited when they launch a new product, find an unexploited niche, when something sells on auction for much more than they expected, being able to work their business from home, having a sales channel for their creative talents.

Like most things in life, people will harp on about which areas need improving. eBay's growth is almost unprecidented so there will be people looking to take advantage of such a large community of users. Most people are happy, however you'll find the moans tend to focus on the points below:

  • Non performing sellers
  • Non paying bidders
  • Location abuse and high postage charges
  • Scams, spoof emails and dishonesty
  • Parcels getting lost in the post
  • eBay fees
  • Paypal

If you want to know more about each of the points above, just take a look around our site you'll find more information on eBay than you could ever need.

For the uninitiated, a buyer can ask a seller a question (ASQ) when they look at an item on eBay. If they have read the auction description and still have questions, they are encouraged to ASQ. This has resulted in some of the barmiest questions possible, all offending names have been edited. I can assure you that the questions are absolutely genuine.

All of the questions (and in some cases the answers) have been submitted to us by eBay users, if you would like to add your own Stupid eBay Question, please submit it to us for review. To view the questions, click here The questions that people ask!
